I’m running a small nail business and slowly building an audience, so I’ve been looking into affiliate programs as another way to grow without throwing a huge budget at advertising.

I’m curious what actually works for micro-influencers and small beauty brands—which programs are worth joining, which ones are a waste of time, and whether smaller niche offers can outperform the big-name programs.

What affiliate programs have actually been worth it for you?

Amazon Associates gets you in the door, but honestly, that 1% to 3% beauty commission rate feels like picking up nickels off the sidewalk.

Total waste of traffic. Amazon works if you’re doing massive volume, but for micro-creators, niche brand programs pay 10% to 20% and convert way better because your audience actually trusts your specific polish recommendations.
