There are so many ways to get traffic these days that it’s kinda hard to know what’s actually worth focusing on. SEO, PPC, social media, email, content, AI, etc.

I’m curious what everyone here is actually using right now. What strategy has given you the best results lately, and what ended up being a complete waste of time?

Would be interesting to compare what’s working for beginners vs people who have been doing marketing for years.

Newsletter and short-form video are carrying us right now. Generic SEO blog posts targeting top-of-funnel keywords turned into a complete waste of time once search engines started answering everything directly with AI.

Meta ads (Instagram/Facebook) are the only thing giving me reliable sales right away. I wasted two months trying to get organic traffic on Pinterest before realizing I needed immediate feedback on my offer.

I can see why. Meta ads can give you feedback a lot faster, especially when you’re still trying to figure out if your offer actually works.

In my experience, the critical success factor for content marketing continues to be providing value. It can be videos, emails, SEO texts, or any other medium. I have noticed that useful information has a demand regardless of platforms, audiences, and promotion resources. Effective content is created for real people, not algorithms.

That’s actually insightful. Providing something useful seems to matter more than the platform itself, especially when the content is made for people and not just to please an algorithm.
