There is a lot of advice available for beginners, but not all of it is useful or easy to apply. What lesson or mistake taught you the most when you were starting out, and what would you recommend that a complete beginner focus on first?

I wish I had focused on one channel and one measurable goal instead of trying every tactic at once. A beginner should understand the audience and offer, publish consistently, and track a real conversion metric before adding more tools.

One thing that helped me was actually applying what I learned instead of just reading about different strategies. You understand things a lot better once you start trying them yourself.

Keeping track of what worked and what didn’t can also make it easier to see which strategies are actually worth sticking with.
