I'm just a beginner and I'm really excited to start learning more about internet marketing and I'm sure that I want to start with social media. The only thing I'm unsure is which platform I should focus on. Feel free to drop some of your guys insight.

Start with platforms like facebook or instagram. It depends on your audience.

Thank you for your answers. How much time should I spend on social media each day?

Just 30 mins will do since you're just starting. You can bump it to 1 hour if you have the time.

I agree, 30 mins to an hour would be an ideal time especially if you're spending it engaging with your followers and posting content.

If you already established your network in one of your platform and you already reached a wide audience, use that existing platform.

I started by following small creators with similar content and actually commenting on their posts, not just liking. That helped me get seen without feeling spammy. Also, jumping on current trends early gave me more reach. I used free tiktok likes to give my first few videos a small push, which weirdly did help them get some extra views. After that, the engagement started coming in more naturally.

Love this. I did something similar—engaged with others first and stayed consistent with posting. I picked one platform (Instagram for me) and just stuck with it until I got the hang of things. That focus really helped.
