I have clienr that wants to pay me for my work and he's using Remitly, but the online transaction reference statement it would take roughly about two days to reach into my account? Is this really necessary? Or just a protocol?

It happens to me too. I usually suggest using a different payment option if possible, but Remitly is still a decent choice overall.

Based on my experience, this option is viable for most international financial transactions. The main advantage of Remitly is its wide range of supported banks and countries. However, I would look into the specific fees before adopting this system, as there are likely to be additional costs beyond the base price.

Mhmm, I guess that’s the price you pay for having such a wide network and being able to connect with so many banks and countries.

I think it depends on which country the money is coming from and the banks involved. In my experience, transfers can arrive in around six hours, although delays can happen if the system is down or there are additional processing requirements. I’d recommend making transfers on regular banking days, usually Monday to Friday, to reduce the chances of delays. Processing times can still vary, though, so it’s best to check the estimated arrival time for that specific transaction.
