If you only had a small advertising budget, which platform would you choose and why?

I would choose based on intent. Google Ads makes sense when people are already searching for the solution, while Meta is stronger when the offer needs visual discovery. With a small budget, I would test one focused campaign instead of splitting money across both.

I’d probably go with Meta Ads since most of the platforms I use fall under their ecosystem. It’s easier to reach people across Facebook and Instagram without having to manage completely separate campaigns, and I can test different creatives to see what gets better engagement before putting more money into it.

I would base my decision on the purchasing process’s nature and the customer path. In other words, Google Ads would be my choice if people already know what they are looking for, and Meta advertisements if a buyer is unfamiliar with the item and the company. I would also consider the audience’s characteristics, test the two platforms, and evaluate the results.
