Have you ever had a payment take longer than expected to show up in your account? It can be tricky to handle situations like this when both sides believe they're right. How would you verify the payment and settle the issue fairly without putting either party at risk?

I’d first ask for a screenshot of the transaction and check the reference number directly with the payment system. If there’s no record of it at all, I’d be more cautious and consider the possibility of a scam, especially since a valid reference number should be traceable. I wouldn’t release the order until the payment is properly verified.

I’d do the same. You can never be too careful when it comes to online transactions, especially when money is involved. I’d rather take a few extra minutes to verify the payment than risk losing both the product and the money. It’s always better to be cautious than to deal with the consequences of a scam.

Sometimes, payments take longer to appear because of system issues or differences in banking and payment services, especially when dealing with international transactions. That's why I'd give it some time and verify the transaction before making any assumptions. This is also one reason I prefer dealing with local sellers when possible, since communication and resolving payment issues can be much easier when both parties are in the same country.
