A process review can reveal work that feels productive but adds little value. What recurring task or channel did you stop after comparing the time it consumed with the results it produced? I’m especially interested in the evidence that justified the change and how you avoided mistaking a short-term dip for a bad strategy.

I stopped manually compiling a weekly channel report after noticing that most of its metrics never influenced a decision. We kept a shorter dashboard tied to qualified leads, cost per action, and conversion rate. I watched it through two reporting cycles and checked seasonality before removing the old report, so a temporary dip was not the deciding factor.

I’ve found that it’s easy to stick with a routine just because you’re used to it. Sometimes stepping back and asking whether it’s actually helping you make progress can change how you spend your time.

I stopped trying to follow every trend because not all of them fit the audience or the content I wanted to create. It became more effective to stick with topics that people genuinely care about rather than constantly changing direction.

I stopped spending so much time on content that barely got any response. Instead of repeatedly trying the same approach, I started paying attention to what people actually engage with and adjusting from there. It helped me use my time better instead of putting effort into something that clearly wasn't working.

I'd stop treating every marketing activity as equally important. Reviewing results can show that some tasks take hours but barely contribute to traffic, leads, or sales. Once you identify those, you can spend more time on the activities that actually move the business forward.
