How do you recruit high-performing affiliates when you're a new brand?

I set up an affiliate program with a generous 20% commission, but no one is signing up to promote it. How do you reach out to bloggers or creators and pitch them without sounding like cold spam?

For certain, a 20% commission alone isn't going to convince me to promote something. Let alone other marketers and content creators. I’d also want to know whether my audience would actually buy it. If my target audience doesn't match up with your product, I won't market no matter how generous the commission is. I’d start with a small list of creators whose content fits the product (like if you were selling a beauty product, you approach beauty content creators). I might send each a short note (DMs or email pitch) about a specific post that made me think there was a match.
