I launched my site two months ago and I'm barely seeing 5 visits a week. How many months did it take before Google started taking your site seriously?

It varied, but in most cases, I saw results from impressions quite quickly, but the traffic that is ultimately converted into sales appeared after several months. It also depends on the strength of the competition and how good the content was; if it was decent, everything went much faster. In addition, I noticed that it is not always a steady growth of views, sometimes several posts at once start to attract traffic after some time.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. Sometimes a post doesn’t get much attention at first, then suddenly starts bringing in traffic weeks or even months later. It’s not always a steady increase.

Every website has its own pace when it comes to building an audience, and while I haven’t personally experienced this, growing an online presence generally takes time and consistent effort. Instead of focusing only on the numbers, it might help to look at what could make the site more appealing to visitors, such as improving the content, making navigation easier, or giving people a reason to come back. Patience is important, but being willing to adjust your approach along the way can also make a difference.
