If your client doubled the ad budget tomorrow, would you spend it all?

Imagine your campaign is doing pretty well, and your client suddenly gives you twice the budget. It's tempting to spend more right away, but would that actually lead to better results? Would you put more money into the current campaign, try different ads, test new audiences, or save some of the budget for later? I'm curious how you'd decide what to do with the extra money before spending it.

Honestly, I'd probably use the budget since it's the client's money, not mine. If I kept a big portion of it untouched, they might wonder why they gave me that budget in the first place. Of course, I'd still want to spend it wisely and make sure the extra money is being used for something that could actually improve the campaign.

Yeah, the client would probably expect a report showing where the extra budget went and what results it brought in. If the spending stays the same even after they increase the budget, they'd probably wonder why they gave you more money in the first place. That's why it's important to have a clear plan for how to use it.

If the client specifically tells me to use the entire budget, then I'd follow their instructions. However, spending more on ads doesn't automatically guarantee more sales, so I'd want to make sure the budget is being used wisely. It's important to set realistic expectations with the client and explain that the results will still depend on how well the campaign performs, not just how much money we put into it.

I'd follow the client's instructions, but I'd also make sure they understand what to expect from the additional spending. More budget gives us more room to test different approaches, but it doesn't mean every dollar will turn into a sale. I'd rather be upfront about that from the beginning so we can evaluate the results realistically and make better decisions moving forward.
