Should a Beginner Learn Traffic or Conversion First?

If someone is starting from zero, is it better to focus first on attracting the right visitors or on learning landing pages and conversion basics? Both matter, but trying to learn everything at once gets overwhelming.

I’d learn basic conversion principles first, then practice with one traffic source. A simple offer, clear page, and one measurable action make it much easier to understand whether poor results come from the audience or the page.
