The metric that changed my workflow was the qualified-lead-to-booked-call rate. It exposed channels that produced cheap leads but little sales intent, so I started planning campaigns around downstream quality instead of form volume. Once that stabilized, I stopped giving raw lead count a prominent place in weekly reports.
