I've seen posts where the comments are full of people tagging friends, sharing experiences, or asking where to buy something. Even without knowing whether the product is good, the activity makes it look popular. How much does that influence a person's decision?

I've noticed that too. Some brands buy likes and comments to make their posts look more popular than they really are. That's why I don't rely on engagement alone when deciding whether a product is worth buying.

Sometimes it’s because a celebrity or a creator I follow has tried the product. I get curious when I see someone I recognize using it, especially if they share their actual experience. It can definitely influence me to look into the product, even if I wasn’t interested in it before.

Yeah, I agree. I’ve learned not to take online engagement at face value since it's pretty easy to make a post look popular. I’d still look for genuine customer feedback before deciding if a product is worth trying.

That’s definitely possible. Sometimes seeing a familiar face associated with a product makes people curious enough to check it out, even if they wouldn't have noticed it otherwise. It's interesting how a simple endorsement can get people to give something a chance.
