Would You Shop at a Store That Only Accepts Digital Wallets?

Paying through a digital wallet is convenient, but what if your phone dies or the app suddenly stops working? Not everyone carries their phone ready for payment all the time, so having no other payment option could be a hassle. Would you still shop at a store that only accepts digital wallets?

I always bring cash and my phone just in case something comes up and I need another way to pay. I don't have anything against digital wallets, but I'd rather shop somewhere that accepts different payment methods. It's more convenient that way, and I'm also careful about where I enter my banking details. I wouldn't want to rely on just one payment option when things can go wrong anytime.

I probably wouldn't shop at a store that only accepts digital wallets. I'm not comfortable relying on them for every payment, especially when it involves financial information that I'd rather keep protected. I prefer having other payment options so I can choose what I'm comfortable with instead of feeling like I have no choice but to share my banking details through an app.

I'd be fine with a store that only accepts digital wallets, but I think they should make that clear before customers start shopping. It would be awkward to reach the checkout and only then find out that they don't accept cash or cards. Not everyone checks the payment options beforehand, so it's better to let customers know early to avoid wasting their time.

What kind of store only accepts digital wallets? No judgment, but that would be a little weird to me. I get that digital payments are convenient, but not everyone wants to rely on their phone for every transaction. What if the app isn't working or someone simply prefers to pay in cash? It just seems unnecessary to limit the payment options when accepting cash could make things easier for other customers, too.

Honestly, I wouldn't really prefer shopping at a store that only accepts digital wallets. It's not that I can't pay that way because I actually have several digital wallet accounts. I just don't like the idea of being limited to one payment method, especially when flexibility should matter to customers. I'm also not comfortable sharing my banking information online more than necessary. Having digital payments is great, but completely removing other options feels a little too much for me. I'd rather shop somewhere that gives customers the freedom to choose how they want to pay.
